This bracket is to be used with the GM/Allison OEM shallow sump internal filter. This filter lock will prevent the filter fallout as well as eliminate cavitation due to a lack of seal at the filter head. For use with GM OEM Allison Transmission Pans in the Duramax and HD platforms. If you have an Allison 1000 Transmission in your GMC/Chevy truck with the Duramax or V8 Gas engine this is the OEM stock pan replacement.
When adding optional spin-on filters below the second filter drops the price from 10.75 to 10.25 ea.
