Product Information

Allison Deep Pan Kit for 2001-UP GM HD Duramax Diesel & 8.1 Gas Trucks Equipped with the Allison 1000 Transmission

This kit will add 1 gallon of fluid to the sump of the Allison transmission helping to lower temperatures while towing. The Allison pan gasket may need to be replaced on higher mileage trucks. The pan gasket is a thick rubber style gasket and when it gets hard from heat over time it may not seal properly creating a small troublesome leak.

This kit includes the following items:

  • Allison stamped steel deep transmission pan #29536522*
  • Filtran Deep Filter
  • Allison Spin-On #29536579

* We recommend you use a Sun Coast Deep Filter lock with this pan to insure the filter doesn't slip down causing cavitation or possible terminal damage to your transmission. This is cheap insurance against a problem resulting from a filter working its way out of its place. Does it happen to every truck?......No......Has it happened to some?.....Yes!

Complete your deep pan kit with a deep filter lock, Transysnd or Torque Drive fluid, Transgo Jr for the 6 speed or a new pan gasket to guarantee a solid seal. Use the drop down option menu below to add any of these items to your order.
