The AFE Turbo Mouth piece is a perfect way to over come the factory turbo mouth piece with a severe flaw in design creating higher egt's and making the turbo spin up to 20,000 rpms faster to create the same amount of boost called for by the ECM. The stock mouth peice can also help in creating an overheating problem in the early LLY motors. This one upgrade to the LLY motor will be a seat of the pants noticable difference to your LLY with a stock mouth piece in both power and mpg. Installs in 30 minutes or less.
This turbo inlet manifold features aFe's patented MDV technology for a 73% increase in airflow. This delivers 23 horsepower and an additional 53 lbs. X ft of torque (@2225 RPM). This is a direct fit stock exchange item made from A356-T6 aluminum. That is an awesome horsepower per dollar rate.
