A Turbo Timer is a device designed to an engine running for a pre specified amount of time or until a pre spcified temperature is reached to execute a cool down period. This prevents premature turbo wear and failure. It also allows lubricating oil from the engine to circulate properly so the turbine won't burn the oil that would otherwise be trapped within the turbo charger with the turbine rotating at high speeds.
This turbo timer is designed for 2006-Up Dodge Cummins. Other years of Dodge Cummins engines prior to 2006 may use the Universal Turbo Timer from Edge.
