This Baldwin BF7637 fuel filter is a direct replacement for the Cat 1R-0750. Many uses for these filters are for the Volkwagon TDI and aftermarket adaptors such as the Nicktane adaptor that we sell. Many of these adaptors are used to adapt the Cat or Baldwin filter to the oem filter head such as the Nicktane adaptor for the GM Duramax engine. This allows for better filtration than the OEM filter in many cases.
